The ultimate mantra of the root chakra is “ALL IS ONE” and it carries the message that we are connected to all of life and that every choice we make and every belief we hold exerts influence upon our whole life.
What are the chakras?
Chakra is an iteration of pure source energy within us. There are 12 energy dimensions, seven of which reside directly within our vessel.
The chakras are the metaphysical representation of the U-N-Iverse (in you). It is organic celestial energy that pipelines our body, mind, and soul (within the third dimension), to higher source. When your chakras are balanced and in alignment with Spirit, the abundant grace and love of God will reign in your life.
About the Root Chakra
The Root Chakra, Muladhara in traditional Sanskrit, is the first chakra located at the base of our spine. Our root chakra develops within the first seven years of our lives and is responsible for our sense of inner security, our connection to nature around us, our physical health and vitality, and our ability to trust our manifestation power.
The root chakra, as suggested by its name, is our foundational chakra. It is the energy pool that we pull our survival instincts and connection to our bodies, our minds, and our souls from. How we interact with other people and how we think about ourselves is a reflection of the state of our root chakra.
The energy that exerts from the root chakra operates at a frequency of 256hz. Metaphysically this means that low energy penetrates deeply within the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual body. Feeling an emotion so strong that you can only react, or suffering a major trauma to the body are all triggers of energetic movement in your root chakra.
If you find that you are struggling with anxiety, high-strung feelings, inability to connect, feelings of unbelonging, resentment, and/or low self-esteem you may be experiencing a blockage in your root chakra. Blockages are an energetic misfire and can happen at any stage in life or transformation. It could be a byproduct of childhood traumas, faulty relationships, toxic environments that exhaust mental capacities, mother/father wounds, and a variety of other things. With an imbalanced or fractured root chakra, we do not have the capacity to overcome Spiritual struggle.
The first time I tried a root chakra cleanse was in 2021. I had the opportunity to participate in a 21-day root chakra healing course created by Angela Purvis of Meye Magikal Lyfe where I was able to put my healing and learning into practice. Throughout those 21 days of root chakra alignment focused activities, I sat with and processed many thought patterns, habits, feelings, and beliefs that were never or were no longer serving my greatest good. Going through the cleanse with the intention to heal meant that I opened up the portal for Spirit to speak freely to me and reveal the truths of the U-N-Iverse. Focusing on root chakra healing propelled my enlightenment journey in a way that was often uncomfortable but very necessary.
I found that the following five activities incited the most inner healing with little to no effort. Steps toward balancing your root chakra include in-depth work related to shadow cellph, inner child healing, meditation, visualization, etc. Being healthy, fit, grounded, prosperous, centered, and having a strong sense of authenticity are all signs of a well-balanced Chakra. Through holistic work, there will be layers of awareness to unpack as you come into deeper innerstanding. However, this 5-step guide to passively heal your root chakra is an easy first step in the right direction.
5 Passive Ways to Heal Your Root Chakra
- Wear the color red
Wearing the color red in accordance with root chakra healing comes from the idea of vibrational healing. Red attracts the most attention and is associated with love, passion, strength, power, courage, and danger. Red is vibrant, stimulating, and exciting, motivating us to act. Red exudes masculine energy as it is strong and powerful and can also enhance confidence. By wearing the color red you are visibly exuding certain stigmas and energies associated with the root chakra. Add some red colored crystals such as garnet, red jasper, red calcite and smoky quartz to your wardrobe to enhance your look and to remain connected to the Earth.
